I just start the second semester in university and I’ve realised that I’ve done a huge mistake! I choose an optional subject that I did not want to have.

I was thinking about this for some time, I wanted to have other subject that is more from my interest, but I was not sure if I should change it or just stay like that.

What have I done to decide?

Well, first of all I talked with my family, they were supportive with me and they said I should do what I think is right for me. My brother went further, he said I should change because it would be the right thing to do and the option that would make more sence.

Then I talked with some university mates, some already had the subject, others had more knoledge then me. I listened to them and their opinion, and in the end, they said I should choose the option I fell better with. Althought that are subjects “easy” to do I should choose the one that I’m more interested about.

So, afther talking with the most important people and get my information I had to decide!

Today I went to the academic services to make the change!

Making changes is scary! But if is an informed change and something you really want you should go for it! Don’t be afraid!

Follow your dreams!

What is the change you are looking foward to do?

Back to University! How to Make it Easier?

Today is officially my last day of vacations. That means I must get everything ready for Monday!

As every student I’m not looking forward to going back to school. I would much rather to stay home all day doing nothing!

So, where I find my motivation to go back?

Well, it’s simple!

  • I’m taking my master degree in an area that I’m passionate about! That makes everything easier.
  • This degree will improve my future! With it I can a better paid job.
  • Studying is a way to improve myself and my skills! I’m always looking for ways to improve.

We should always try to improve ourselves, the way I found to do it is keep studying. I give everything of me to every subject I have, I try to learn the most of it.

I have always my target in mind: “Finish my degree in the minimum time possible”.

If you need some inspiration to start studying search for it! I’ll leave here some inspirational quotes:

  • Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do. – John Wooden
  • Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. – Arthur Ashe
  • Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. – Robert Collier
  • There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. – Beverly Sills
  • The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. – Vidal Sassoon
  • Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresea, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. – H. Jackson Brown Jr.
  • Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. – Joshua J. Marine
  • Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently. – Henry Ford
  • You don’t drown by falling in the water; you drown by staying there. – Ed Cole

Remember always yourself: “Do your best!”

Keep fighting for your dreams!

A lot of people are in a life quest to find perfection. But what is perfection?

Well, let’s be honest, you can spend your entire life searching for perfection that you’ll never reach it. It’s impossible to be perfect! There is always a way to improve in everything!

It’s totally okay not to be perfect, because perfection doesn’t exist.

  • You have a work to do, but you want it to be perfect, so you will spend hours always changing something, but you’ll never finish it because it’s not perfect!
  • What you should do is to give 200% of you on that work, once you finish you review the work, do some corrections and then you can consider that has a finished job. Why? Because you gave everything you had in it, that is the nearest to perfection you will reach!

When you give everything you have and more, that is when your best job/work is done.

In every job you must give all, in the end you’ll know that you can’t improve what you just did and it’ll be the best work you have ever done.

And, the most important, is that in every work you should learn something new, and use what you learned in further projects!

You should always want to improve your work, your skills, you should want to progress and not to be perfect.

Choose always progress over perfection!

What skills do you want to improve today?

Keep chasing to your dreams!

So, today is again Monday, a start of a new week, and by many people judge as the worst day of the week!

Well, I’ll start saying that I’ve never reviewed myself in this, to me the worst day was always Sunday!

Monday is bad because it means that you must go back to work, wake up early and all that. But try to see it from the positive side! It’s the start of a new week! A new week of possibilities!

So instead of staying sad for being again Monday, ask yourself what do you want to achieve this week.

Monday should be a day of introspection, analyze the week before and realize what you want to do in this new week.

Monday is the perfect day to start grinding towards your goal!

Monday is a new possibility to do something that you have never done!

Monday is the start!

If you want to succeed Monday should be your favorite day because it’s the start of a new week, a new week that will put you closer to your target.

Keep your mind positive and Monday will stop being a nightmare. Keep the focus! Have your goals on sight!

With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

What will you do this Monday? What are your plans for this week? What is the goal that you will achieve?

What is your conclusion for your introspection?

Keep chasing your dreams!

In the world we live there are so many distractions that is actually hard to keep the focus in the things we have to do!

With the appearance of mobile phones, cable tv, internet, consoles, games, computers, and so many other pieces of tech, the levels of distraction increased. In modern world is harder to keep the focus on things.

We are always checking our smartphones, social media and games.

Going out lunch with friends or family isn’t the same anymore. Instead of talking people are on the phones.

Having a work to do and instead of doing it you just go to YouTube.

Having to study to a test and you go watch a movie.

Having to do the housework and you go to the social media.

And why all of this?

Well, world has change, we can’t keep the focus on what we must do! The distractions are more and more with the time, and people instead trying to do the task they must do, they just follow the distractions!

I’m no different! Most of the times I also get distracted from what I have to do. But at least once a day, I take some time to see what I have to do and I pass the hours needed working, it can be 30 minutes or 5 hours, doesn’t matter, I’ll do the work first and then I can get distracted.

It’s easy to get distracted! So, you should take 5 minutes to think what you have to do, and after you realized what you have to do don’t lose the focus. Seize the opportunity and do the tasks you have to do immediately. It will be easier to do the tasks, you’ll see!

In this world of distractions, the hardest is to keep the focus. Take just 5 minutes of your time to focus in something important. You’ll see that these 5 minutes will transform in 5 hours, and you won’t realize that it has been so long until you finish the task.

Keep the focus!

What do you do to don’t get distracted?
